Job Overview

When every connection counts, TE's Industrial & Commercial Transportation (ICT) business unit delivers reliable connectivity products designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions for on and off-highway vehicles and recreational transportation. Some of our key technologies include terminals and connectors, custom cable assemblies, relays and switching modules, inductive systems, and wire and cable.

This will be a remote role which will focus on the midwest of the United States.

Job Overview:
Drive expansion of the Industrial & Commercial Transportation (ICT) product portfolio within and beyond the core ICT market.
Serve as the territory's key resource for generating incremental ICT business through the distribution channel.
Collaborate with end customers, TE channel resources, and distributors to recommend solutions for new and existing applications.
Identify new applications, customer requirements, and necessary product modifications or enhancements to meet specifications.
Deliver on-site presentations and technical training on ICT products to distributors, channel resources, and end customers.
Lead all technical aspects of the sales cycle, including opportunity identification, solution development, demand generation, technical marketing support, project execution, and post-sale support.
Leverage ICT's authorized distributor network to advance and convert identified opportunities.

What your background should look like:

Key Responsibilities:
Manage customers and distributors with detailed product information and application support of ICT products to assist in growing regional business and product reach.

Key Activities:
Conducting on-site customer visits with distribution partners to identify and apply the best TE solution for each application.
Delivering ongoing technical training to distribution partners, including re sessions on existing products and support for New Product Introductions (NPI).
Monitoring competitive activity and providing Product Management with market feedback, including pricing, drop-in replacements, design enhancements, and target customers.
Driving organic growth through distributors, including forecasting business and coordinating with Supply Chain and Demand Management to enable successful product launches.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written)
  • Ability to work as an individual or part of an account team
  • Strong customer focus and willingness to assist in all aspects of their business
  • High energy and drive
  • Analytical and structured thinking with an ability to suitably address customers request
  • Self-sufficient - Ability to work with little supervision
  • Demonstrated adaptability to change priorities and strategies based on business conditions
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Working knowledge of SAP preferred

COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $131,500 - 150,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
