Job Description Summary
As a Commercial Mechanical Analysis engineer, you will perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and apply that to component strength and durability assessments. You will also perform some project management and cross functional teaming within the team that is responsible for the mechanical analysis of critical hardware for commercial engine lines.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Execute the analysis or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of a finite element analysis (FEA) as it applies to mechanical stress analysis
  • Contribute to the engineering design of some of the most advanced aerospace systems from idea through flight.
  • Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve engineering problems.
  • Able to communicate results clearly to peers, leadership, and the customer.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and 6 plus years of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and or/mechanical design

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
