ServiceNow Architect

Location: Woodlawn, MD
Job Type: Permanent / Full-Time
Work Model: Onsite 5 Days/Week
Clearance: Ability to Obtain and Maintain SSA Public Trust Clearance
Visa:  Only, USC
 

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead platform architecture, solution design, and enterprise-scale ServiceNow delivery in a federal environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on ServiceNow experience, architecture expertise, and the ability to work closely with business and technical teams to drive modernization, automation, integrations, and platform governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, ITBM/SPM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, HR, HAM, and SAM.
• Lead ServiceNow platform modernization, enhancements, integrations, and technical design reviews.
• Develop architecture standards, platform roadmaps, solution designs, and technical recommendations.
• Drive automation and adoption of AI-enabled and next-generation ServiceNow capabilities.
• Establish data governance and integrity across CMDB, HAM, and SAM.
• Design and oversee REST/SOAP integrations, workflows, Business Rules, Identification Rules, Workspaces, and external portals.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture governance, and mentorship to ServiceNow development teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, developers, and federal clients to ensure scalable and secure solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain an SSA Public Trust Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant IT experience; Master’s degree with 3–6 years, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• 12+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and solution delivery.
• 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Solutions Architect.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Strong expertise in:
  • ServiceNow architecture and solution design
  • ITSM, ITOM, ITBM/SPM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, HR
  • CMDB, HAM, and SAM
  • Enterprise integrations and platform governance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Woodlawn, MD.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong JavaScript development and ServiceNow automation experience.
• Experience with HTML/XHTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, Angular, PHP, .NET, and Java.
• Experience with SAML, Active Directory, and LDAP.
• ServiceNow CIS certifications in areas such as ITSM, CSM, Discovery, Service Mapping, SPM, APM, SAM, or HAM.
• ITIL v4 Foundation certification.
• PMP, Scrum, Agile, or other relevant leadership certifications.
