Power BI Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Power BI Developer for a remote role for a 6-8 month contract position.

Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience with Power BI and possess strong skills in DAX. This role is fully remote and requires excellent communication skills, as you will be responsible for teaching team members how to effectively use Power BI as a developer.

Key Responsibilities:
* Review and analyze data sets to ensure compatibility with Power BI
* Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards
* Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* Provide training and support to team members on Power BI functionalities and best practices, so they can teach end users how to use Power BI
* Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards

REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience with Power BI
* Proficiency in DAX
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience in training and mentoring team members

Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
