Job Summary
\\n
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Hogan core banking systems, reverse-engineering legacy modules and translating embedded business logic into modern, canonical specifications to support migration to the Pismo platform.
\\n
Key Responsibilities
\\n
Reverse-engineer Hogan modules including IDS, CIS, PEP+, ULS, DDA, and rail-specific components
\\n
Analyze and document business rules embedded in COBOL programs into structured, reusable specifications
\\n
Design and build data extraction and integration interfaces using:
\\n
VSAM
\\n
DB2
\\n
MQ
\\n
Enable dual-write mechanisms, rollback strategies, and legacy-side validation during migration
\\n
Support legacy system stabilization and change control processes in production
\\n
Collaborate with architecture and development teams to ensure accurate behavior replication in Pismo
\\n
Participate in decommissioning strategy for legacy functionalities
\\n
Skill Requirements
\\n
10+ years of hands-on experience with DXC Hogan core banking platform
\\n
Strong expertise in:
\\n
COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, MQ
\\n
Proven experience in:
\\n
Legacy system analysis and reverse engineering
\\n
Core banking modernization / migration programs
\\n
Strong understanding of production change management and control processes
\\n
Ability to translate complex legacy logic into modern functional/technical documentation
\\n

Knowledge of parallel-run and reconciliation strategies
\\n
