Salesforce Developer

Our client, one of the most well-known and highly regarded nonprofit organizations, is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to support the rollout of a new Volunteer Portal built on Salesforce Experience Cloud.

The primary initiative is migrating an existing Visualforce-based portal to Experience Cloud using Experience Builder, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Apex. This role will partner closely with other developers and product stakeholders to build and enhance the new site while leveraging existing Salesforce data models. Outside of the portal project, this individual will contribute to production support, custom development, and defect resolution across the Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the development team on migration from Visualforce to Experience Cloud

• Build and configure the Volunteer Portal using Experience Builder, LWC, and Apex

• Leverage existing Salesforce data models to support portal functionality

• Perform custom development (Apex classes/triggers, LWCs, integrations)

• Provide production support, analyze issues, and resolve defects

• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute scalable solutions

• Write unit tests and maintain technical documentation

• Collaborate cross-functionally in an Agile environment

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience

• Strong Experience Cloud implementation experience (required)

• Proven experience rolling out a portal using Experience Builder, LWC, and Apex

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required)

• Strong understanding of Salesforce data models and platform architecture

• Experience delivering in an Agile framework
