Summary

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Java Developer - FileNet Migration position! This is a 12-18 month contract and will be remote in United States.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead a major cloud migration project moving 450 petabytes of data from on-premise IBM FileNet to SaaS
  • Design and develop utilities to support FileNet cloud migration and document management modernization
  • Build and upgrade applications using Spring Boot, migrating from version 2.8 to 3.6
  • Modernize legacy batch applications and deploy to Azure cloud environment
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural direction for complex systems integrating with 55+ applications
  • Direct and mentor junior developers while coordinating development tasks across project teams
  • Collaborate with servicing, application processing, and account opening teams on document management solutions
  • Prepare technical specifications, system documentation, and project assessments with time estimates
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and system solutions to improve organizational effectiveness
  • Conduct technical analysis through user acceptance testing, including test data preparation and debugging

What You'll Need to Have:

  • 6+ years of systems analysis and application development experience with complex enterprise systems
  • Expert-level proficiency with IBM FileNet Developer 5.6.x and System Migration Tool MARS
  • Strong hands-on experience with JDK 21.x+ and Spring Boot framework
  • Proven ability to lead cloud migration projects and modernization initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline development
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for resolving complex technical issues
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting to technical and business stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously while coordinating effectively across multiple teams and business units

Pay Range: $75-80+/hr
