Summary
- Design prototype hardware and electromechanical systems using CATIA V6.
- Generate 2D drawing packages for fabrication and assembly.
- Evaluate static, dynamic, structural, and thermal-mechanical performance of assemblies.
- Lead component testing, characterization, and data analysis activities.
- Work with suppliers to develop, release, and deliver active chassis components.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, assembly, vehicle integration, and operations teams.
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master or PhD preferred.
- Experience with CATIA V5/V6 and 2D drawings including GD&T;
- Experience with strut, air spring, and damper design and development.
- Knowledge of chassis systems, vehicle engineering, and component delivery.
- Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, sealing, and electrical systems.
- Experience in testing and vehicle development.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of automotive release processes and long-term planning.
- Advanced degree.
- Experience with suspension systems, dampers, and vehicle ride dynamics.
- Patent awards.
- CAN and networking experience.
- Automotive OEM or Tier 1 experience.
- Experience with Polarion, Jira, and Confluence.
- Simulink proficiency and hydraulic/pneumatic system modeling
