Summary

Job Title: Field IT Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking a Field IT Infrastructure Engineer to provide high-touch operational support and hardware deployment across a variety of corporate, branch, and remote office environments. You will be the primary technical resource responsible for the lifecycle management of our IT infrastructure-including installs, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC), as well as critical hardware repair and network troubleshooting.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for an engineer who thrives outside of a traditional office. You will manage a diverse hardware stack-from standard workstations and peripherals to network appliances and specialty site-specific devices. If you are a self-motivated technical expert who enjoys complex troubleshooting and is ready to support mission-critical infrastructure in the field, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Support & Deployment
IMAC Operations: Execute physical installation, relocation, and configuration of IT assets (workstations, peripherals, network routers, and specialized site devices).
Break-Fix & Maintenance: Perform advanced implementation, support, and repairs on a wide variety of hardware, including desktop devices, telephone systems, and network peripherals.
Systems Administration: Provide foundational support for server platforms and core business applications (MS Office/Outlook), ensuring minimal downtime for all site users.

Technical Operations
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues. Apply deep technical knowledge to ensure devices meet operational requirements.
Operational Readiness: Ensure that site-specific hardware-including digital display systems and proprietary peripheral technology-is fully functional and integrated with the broader enterprise network.
Travel & Coordination: Manage site visits according to service request timelines. Maintain high availability and flexibility for on-call duties, weekend, and off-hour maintenance windows as required by business operations.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Education: 2-4 years of formal IT training OR 3+ years of equivalent professional experience.
Experience Baseline: Demonstrated success in hands-on IT field support and hardware deployment.
Technical Mastery: Proficiency in Windows workstation environments, network hardware basics, and peripheral troubleshooting.
Certification: CompTIA A+ Certification is highly preferred.

Preferred Attributes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills-you must be comfortable guiding non-technical staff through minor issues on-site.
Strong "Service-First" mindset; ability to apply technical processes to address immediate business needs under pressure.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision across various site environments.
