Role: SAP Release & Change Manager

Location: Maple Grove, MN (no remote)

Job Description:

Dedicated SAP-MD Release & Change Manager responsible for release governance, change approvals, transport management, deployment readiness, and cross-functional coordination to ensure controlled and successful project and production releases.

Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the SAP-MD release calendar across maintenance, enhancement, and project releases.
• Facilitate release planning, release readiness, and go/no-go meetings.
• Review, govern, and approve SAP-MD change requests and deployment activities.
• Perform transport review and ensure compliance with release and change management processes.
• Coordinate transport migrations across Development, PRT, QA, and Production environments.
• Partner closely with SAP Basis, Infrastructure, Security, Validation, and Project teams to ensure deployment readiness.
• Manage maintenance releases, emergency changes, and project deployment schedules.
• Lead cutover planning, implementation coordination, and post-release validation activities.
• Track release risks, dependencies, conflicts, and mitigation actions.
• Provide release status reporting, deployment metrics, and governance updates to SAP-MD leadership.
