Supporting millions of customers daily across e-commerce, supply chain, and in-store technology platforms, this organization is investing heavily in cloud security, automation, and enterprise-scale risk reduction.

As a Google Cloud Platform Cloud Security Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping the security posture of large-scale public cloud environments. You'll work on high-impact initiatives including secure-by-default cloud architecture, Policy-as-Code, CSPM modernization, and automated risk remediation.

• Design Secure Cloud Foundations
• Create and maintain secure cloud architecture patterns and reference implementations across Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and AWS.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and infrastructure automation that enable secure cloud adoption at scale.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed security controls early in the development lifecycle.

• Lead evaluation, implementation, and optimization of enterprise CSPM capabilities.
• Leverage Wiz to identify, prioritize, and reduce cloud security risks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering and security teams to improve cloud visibility and governance.

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Policy-as-Code frameworks using Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Rego.
• Build reusable policy libraries that automate compliance and enforce secure deployment standards.
• Integrate policy enforcement into CI/CD pipelines and cloud workflows.

• Identify security gaps and partner with engineering teams to develop scalable remediation strategies.
• Implement automated controls that strengthen governance while minimizing operational friction.
• Improve the organization's overall cloud security maturity through engineering-driven solutions.

• 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering or cloud security with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) in enterprise environments.
• Current Google Cloud Professional certification.
• Proven experience building and maintaining Policy-as-Code solutions using Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Rego.
• Experience creating reusable policy libraries that enforce cloud security and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Wiz or similar Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) platforms.
• 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining production Terraform code.
• Strong automation and scripting skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD practices, and cloud automation.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, compute, storage, databases, and security architecture.
• Experience designing secure cloud deployment patterns and implementing enterprise cloud security controls.
• Ability to analyze complex security challenges and develop practical, scalable solutions.
