Design Engineer

Position: Design Engineer – Parking Technology Solutions
Location: North Wales PA (onsite 2-3 days a week)
Employment Type: Longterm Contract

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Design Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in technical design and engineering drawings for physical installations. The role involves creating accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for parking technology solutions, including parking access and revenue control systems (PARCS), cameras, gates, barriers, payment kiosks, and guidance systems.

Key Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D, Revit, or SketchUp is a plus.
• Experience creating 2D layouts, 3D models, and installation-ready drawing packages.
• Knowledge of civil/site design, ADA accessibility, clearances, and local codes.
• Working knowledge of basic networking, including IP addressing, subnetting, and PoE.
• Experience coordinating with clients, contractors, sales, and installation teams.
• Strong communication, documentation, and project coordination skills.
• A portfolio of actual project drawings and 3D models is required.

Preferred: Experience with parking systems, access control, CCTV, LPR cameras, or low-voltage/security system design.

Note: This role requires end-to-end design ownership, client interaction, and occasional domestic travel.
