SAP HCM Consultant

Location: Columbia, SC

Work Arrangement: Fully Remote (Nationwide candidates welcome)

Interview Mode: 1 Round, Virtual/Online

Shift: EST Business Hours

Development & Technical Support: Develop quality ABAP code and documentation for HCM processes, including Web-Dynpro, FPM applications, and Adobe Forms.

System Integration: Interface SAP HCM with various systems such as Kronos (Workforce Ready/Dimensions), ADP, and SuccessFactors using SAP PI/CPI, IDOCs, and Web Services.

Functional Configuration: Support Time Management, Payroll, ESS/MSS, and Personnel Administration within the SAP ECC and HANA Cloud environments.

Project Leadership: Mentor less experienced team members on SAP programming concepts and participate in strategic team planning to improve overall work quality.

Testing & Maintenance: Lead unit testing, develop test scripts (eCATT), and manage software updates, including OSS note research and evaluation.

SAP HCM ABAP: Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in HCM ABAP development.

Kronos Expertise: Working knowledge of Kronos Dimensions Suite and Workforce Ready Suite.

Integration Technologies: Proficiency in HANA Cloud Integration (CPI), RFC, BAPI, and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

Technical Frameworks: Deep understanding of SAP Portal technology, Fiori-based portals, and SuccessFactors integration.

Methodologies: Experience working within ASAP, Agile, or Waterfall development models.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional work experience.

Technical Depth: Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Enhancement Frameworks (BAdIs, User Exits), and LSMW/BDC programming.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with analysts and system owners.

Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to prioritize tasks and provide accurate work estimates for complex system changes.
