Senior Field Truck Technician (Kermit, TX)

  • A compensation package built for the field. Earn $39/hour on a 14-on / 7-off rotation, with overtime, RSUs, a $1,500 annual bonus. Daytime, night and weekend shifts are being hired for.*
  • Where the technology meets the road. Maintain and repair AI-powered, self-driving trucks in the Permian Basin - the same platforms delivering freight driverlessly across the southern U.S.
  • Complex problems, real-world stakes. Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures, repair harnesses and sub-systems, and certify trucks, trailers, and autonomous platforms operating in active commercial environments.
  • Remote work that actually matters. Support staging, workflow readiness, and field-based teams across West Texas, with occasional cross-training at main locations to keep skills sharp.
  • Your insights improve the whole system. Collaborate with design and validation engineers to develop hardware and surface process improvements that make the entire fleet smarter and safer.

Technician Requirements

  • Must pass a background check, and drug screening
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with industry based tooling including specialized electrical and mechanical tooling
  • Proficient with diagnostic instrumentation related to trucks and the ability to perform failure analysis on related components
  • Ability to read, inspect and implement directions, as outlined and depicted in Electrical Harness Diagrams and Mechanical Prints
