Summary

Job Title: Workday Solution Architect
Location: Remote

Job Summary

Lead the end-to-end implementation and optimization of Workday solutions across multiple functional areas.
Partner with HR stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to deliver scalable, efficient, and business-aligned Workday solutions.
Provide architectural leadership, best practices guidance, and strategic direction for Workday initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the full project implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Collaborate closely with HR stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure alignment between business objectives and Workday capabilities.
Develop frameworks and solutions for cross-functional Workday projects that are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business requirements.
Lead solution design sessions with multiple functional teams to develop comprehensive and cohesive solutions.
Present proposed solutions and clearly communicate the advantages and disadvantages of available options.
Provide expert guidance on Workday best practices, configuration, security, integrations, and reporting capabilities.
Conduct reviews of Workday configurations to ensure adherence to standards and optimize performance.
Stay current with Workday releases, features, and industry trends to enhance organizational Workday strategy.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and leverage Workday capabilities to improve efficiency and user experience.
Mentor and support junior Workday functional resources.

Preferred Skills

Workday certifications in relevant modules.
Experience with Workday migrations, upgrades, and post-implementation optimization.
Experience within large, complex enterprise environments.
Manufacturing or automotive industry experience.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in HR technology, including at least 8 years in Workday solution architecture roles.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex Workday solutions across multiple modules.
Deep understanding of Workday architecture, including Business Process Framework, Security, Reporting, and Integrations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business challenges into practical Workday solutions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
