Altus Consulting is seeking a highly motivated Network Administrator to join our team. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and performance.
Responsibilities:- Design, configure, and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues.
- Implement and maintain network security measures.
- Manage user access and permissions.
- Document network configurations and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends.
Preferred Skills:- Experience with cloud-based networking solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiarity with network automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic Qualifications:- Active TS/SCI with poly clearance is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in network administration or a related role.
- Understanding of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
- Experience with Cisco and other networking equipment.
