It requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) skills. We value innovative and creative ideas-yes, even during meetings (where snacks are always welcome). • Conduct engineering checks. Provide data and documentation to engineers for analysis and judgment. Update models and documentation according to the directions as required.
  • Diagnose design problems and prepare countermeasure options as needed.
  • Ensure drawing quality by considering design intent, materials, quality control characteristics, dimensions, tolerances, product requirements, and clarity.
  • Manage parts list (BOM) in PDM and in other engineering documents.
  • Create engineering change documentation.
  • Follow technical company standards for modeling and drafting.
  • Participate in recurring design reviews to uphold design quality and facilitate communication within the group.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, cost, quality, and delivery of new products.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or an Associate's degree in CAD.
  • 4+ years of experience creating models and drawings in CAD software (CREO preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical ability.
  • Great documentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of interpersonal skills and work effectively with cross-cultural team.

What Sets You Apart:
  • Material handling, automotive, or heavy equipment design experience
  • Proficiency with surface modeling and advanced surface modeling techniques.

Where and When You'll Work:
  • This is an in-person role located at our Greene, NY office-ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:

Salary - $73,840 - $94,667 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience.
