Job Title: Mid-Level Mobile Data Analyst
Job Duration: 6 months contract-to-hire
Location: Hybrid - Chanhassen, MN
Overview
Our client is looking for a mid-level Mobile Data Analyst to their team.
This individual will work closely with Logan (Senior Mobile Analyst, ~4 5 years of experience) and be developed within the company's ecosystem.
The emphasis is on:
Strong cultural fit and personality
Solid SQL fundamentals (read/write queries confidently)
Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Strong communication and business-facing skills
This role is more about how someone thinks and collaborates than highly complex technical depth.
Role Expectations Technical Responsibilities:
Analyze mobile-related data and business problems
Write and interpret SQL queries confidently
Independently work through problems, then collaborate with Logan
Participate in live SQL problem-solving during interviews
Business & Soft Skills Expectations:
Comfortable working directly with business stakeholders
When presented with a request, able to:
o Clarify what the business is truly asking for
o Ask thoughtful follow-up questions
o Define what the desired output should look like
Ensure the data delivered actually answers the business need
Translate data into clear, actionable insights
Effectively represent findings in a dashboard format for the business
They want someone who doesn t just pull data, but who:
Digs in to understand context
Aligns on expected outcomes
Communicates clearly
Presents insights in a way that makes sense to non-technical stakeholders
Required Skill Set
Strong ability to read and write SQL queries
Comfortable walking through SQL logic live
Analytical mindset and structured thinking
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to clarify requirements and define output expectations
Experience translating data into dashboards and business-facing outputs
Coachable and open to mentorship
The projected hourly range for this position is $40-50/hr.
