Job Title: Senior Technical Product Owner Mainframe Modernization

Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner with proven expertise leading end-to-end mainframe modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will own modernization strategy, roadmap, execution, and delivery, transforming legacy mainframe platforms into modern cloud-aligned architectures.

Key responsibilities:

Include driving modernization workstreams, defining EPICs and execution plans, managing technical roadmaps, and leading cross-functional teams across engineering, data, cloud, and PMO organizations. Candidates should have strong experience with legacy-to-modern transformation, CDC/API-based data integration, batch migration, VSAM conversion, Agile delivery, and executive-level stakeholder communication.

Required expertise includes mainframe modernization leadership, backlog ownership, dependency and RAID management, Agile/Product execution, and translating complex legacy business processes into scalable technical solutions. Familiarity with COBOL, JCL, CICS, z/OS, Control-M, and modernization tools such as Micro Focus or Rocket Software is highly preferred.
