Job Description ECS is seeking a
TS-cleared Senior Data Engineer to support one of our mission critical programs for the Department of Justice in
Washington, DC .

We are seeking candidates committed to high quality to provide courteous and accurate technical information. As the Senior Data Engineer, you will collaborate with customers, often engaging directly with non-technical personnel, to understand their data science related needs, suggest solutions, and complete work in a timely manner. This position performs activities associated with the implementation, integration, and support of computer systems in a mission-critical response operations environment.

- Support data analytics tasks and projects using Python
- Support and lead data visualization tasks/projects
- Lead the design, development and maintenance of dashboards
- Identify, recommend remedies, and/or implement new ideas that enhance existing solutions and capabilities
- Develop write-ups, visualizations, infographics, and charts to communicate results and associated findings
Salary Range: $175,000 - $215,000
General Description of Benefits
Required Skills - Bachelor's degree in in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting data analytics projects using Python and Angular
- Demonstrated experience developing in a Micro services environment
- Experience with Data Visualization
- Experiencing designing and implementing dashboards
- Working knowledge and experience with SQL and NoSQL Databases
- Ability to discuss and derive real requirements from non-technical customers and then build into relative tasks.
- Great communication skills
Desired Skills - Experience supporting Extract Transform Load (ETL) tasks
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and GitLab
- Translate business needs into long-term architecture solutions.
- Develop data warehousing blueprints, evaluating hardware and software platforms, and integrating systems.
- Evaluate reusability of current data for additional analyses.
- Review object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access.
