Full Stack JavaScript Developer (Node/Typescript)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Full Stack JavaScript Developer (Node/Typescript) in Greenwood Village, CO.

Summary:
As a Full Stack JavaScript Developer (Node/Typescript), you will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs supporting modern cloud-based applications. This role focuses on developing high-quality RESTful APIs, improving system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure solutions. The ideal candidate has strong experience building backend services in Node.js within AWS environments and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
* Build and support RESTful APIs to enable integration across internal and external systems
* Develop cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services and best practices
* Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following modern development standards
* Collaborate with frontend engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions
* Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
* Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support as needed
* Contribute to architectural discussions and help drive best practices in backend development

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong hands-on experience with Node.js development
* Proven experience building backend services and RESTful APIs
* Experience developing and deploying applications in AWS cloud environments
* Experience with version control systems such as Git
* Solid understanding of backend architecture, system design, and API best practices
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Python development
* Telecommunications industry experience
* Experience with TypeScript
* Familiarity with Java development
* Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
