Job Summary:Supermicro is seeking an experienced Sr. Product Engineer with a strong background in server architecture. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the market trend and partner with the Product Manager to define product vision and strategy for the system's management software products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Define and prioritize next-gen BMC and Redfish features driving remote management innovation.
- Collaborate with PM, HW/FW designers, and cross-functional teams through design, development, and validation phase.
- Research market trends and shape go-to-market strategies with Product Management.
- Enable smooth product launches and drive enterprise customer engagement with technical insights.
Qualifications:- BS or higher in EE/CS/CE or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years in computer engineering, software development, or technical leadership
- 3+ years in software/firmware or server product management
- Deep knowledge of server software technologies like IPMI and DMTF Redfish
- Strong track record managing remote management software support and delivery
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities to drive project success
- Ability to juggle multiple complex projects while anticipating risks and bottlenecks
- Strong technical, people, and organizational skills
Salary Range$137,000 - $180,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
