Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through comprehensive testing. The ideal candidate will execute test cases, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business and technical requirements.
Prepare test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
Validate fixes and perform re-testing.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
Maintain test documentation and reports.
Required Skills:
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
Experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.
Knowledge of defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
Good understanding of databases and basic SQL queries.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
ISTQB certification (preferred).
