Job Details

What You'll Do
This position is responsible for both estimating and managing commercial electrical construction projects from bid through closeout.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate electrical estimates, takeoffs, and bid proposals
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements
  • Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
  • Develop project budgets and cost projections
  • Manage awarded projects through completion
  • Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
  • Track project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Attend project meetings and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Monitor project profitability and identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction
  • Experience in estimating, project management, or a combined PM/Estimator role
  • Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and NEC requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience with estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or similar
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications
  • Journeyman Electrician background
  • Experience managing projects ranging from $100K to $10M+
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • Experience with Design-Build and Design-Assist projects
  • Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera scheduling software
