Job Description


We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager III to lead business management and program delivery for a large, complex technology organization supporting Bank of America. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial planning and analysis, portfolio governance, workforce planning, and executive management routines, and a proven ability to align cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes against strategic objectives.


Responsibilities:



  • Lead business management functions for an ERFT division, including management routines, financial management, event management, employee engagement, and workforce planning.

  • Manage staffing routines and oversight for GT two-deep leader structures.

  • Prepare technology executives for engagements with peers, senior leaders, and business partners.

  • Coordinate across GT teams to align to objectives and manage routines and requests.

  • Drive production of consistent documentation for executive routines and partner communications.

  • Support ERFT executives on BAU expense management and initiative portfolio governance, including visibility to progress, decisions, and approval tracking to forecast changes.

  • Partner with executives and business leaders to deliver strategic agendas, monitor performance, and manage costs.

  • Develop and execute strategies to manage spend, optimize consulting versus FTE mix, manage tenure, and govern staff ramps.

  • Build and maintain communication and engagement plans for executives and supported teams.

  • Translate portfolio roadmaps into delivery milestones and ensure alignment to business strategy and priorities.

  • Facilitate end-to-end headcount planning through onboarding.

  • Consult with senior management to evaluate current methods and implement improvements across service quality, process, compliance, and business continuity.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience with demonstrated budget and forecast management.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills for analytics and executive-ready reporting.

  • Strong analytical ability, organization, and prioritization to manage competing initiatives.

  • Excellent communication, influencing, facilitation, and presentation skills.

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional technology teams and executive routines.

  • Working knowledge of bank policies, programs, procedures, and financial/accounting practices.


Preferred Skills:



  • Program and project management with portfolio governance in large financial institutions.

  • Experience with Agile practices and delivery milestone planning.

  • Strengths in stakeholder management, resource management, and risk management.

  • Background in data management and business acumen within enterprise technology.
