Job DetailsThe Work
- Large-scale, multi-scope, civil infrastructure projects
- High percentage of self-performed work
- Long-duration, technically complex projects (not short-cycle maintenance)
- Senior PMs are primarily office-based in a field environment, focused on leadership, execution, and decision-making
What This Role Looks Like
- Full ownership of major projects from early phases through execution
- Leadership of PMs, Superintendents, and project teams
- Direct interaction with owners, engineers, and internal leadership
- Strategic problem-solving rather than constant fire-drills
- Ability to influence how work is executed - not just react to it
Backgrounds That Translate Well
- Heavy civil, pipeline, plant, or infrastructure construction
- Experience on large-dollar projects where planning and leadership matter
- Candidates from pipeline, plant, heavy highway, or complex civil environments are all considered
- Technical gaps can be taught - judgment, leadership, and communication cannot
