Summary

Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Coordinator to support day-to-day technology operations while serving as a key liaison between internal business teams and external IT partners. This role combines hands-on IT support, vendor coordination, business systems management, cybersecurity, and technology adoption.

The ideal candidate is organized, technically capable, and comfortable translating business needs into clear direction for technical vendors and consultants. This is a hands-on role with an opportunity to play a key part in improving technology, systems, and AI adoption across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

IT Operations & Vendor Management
  • Serve as the primary internal liaison to the managed IT service provider, overseeing responsiveness, project delivery, and service quality.
  • Coordinate on-site IT visits, infrastructure projects, and escalations.
  • Provide first-line IT support, including workstation setup, basic troubleshooting, and hardware lifecycle management.
  • Manage IT vendor contracts, renewals, and service agreements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, software licenses, and technology subscriptions.

Business Systems
  • Serve as the internal point of contact for the SAP Business One environment, partnering with an external consultant for technical configuration and support.
  • Translate business requirements into clear direction for technical consultants and vendors.
  • Coordinate the SAP Business One Version 10 upgrade and web client deployment.
  • Support and expand integrations between CRM and ERP platforms in partnership with Sales, Finance, and Operations.
  • Evaluate opportunities for additional system integrations and workflow automation.
  • Maintain working knowledge of CRM configuration and user administration.

AI & Technology Adoption
  • Assess organizational use of AI tools and develop a consolidated, cost-effective strategy.
  • Manage AI licensing, subscriptions, access, and governance to reduce redundancy and unnecessary costs.
  • Develop and communicate practical AI usage guidelines.
  • Monitor emerging AI technologies and recommend tools that improve productivity.
  • Support leadership and employees in maximizing the value of AI productivity tools.

Security & Compliance
  • Oversee basic cybersecurity practices, including password management, access controls, and user onboarding/offboarding.
  • Coordinate with external IT providers on security patching, endpoint protection, backups, and other security initiatives.
  • Ensure appropriate data security and privacy considerations are incorporated into AI tools, integrations, and technology initiatives.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Teams administration.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts and issues for non-technical leadership and users.
  • Genuine interest and practical experience with AI productivity tools.

Preferred:
  • Familiarity with SAP Business One or similar mid-market ERP platforms.
  • Experience with CRM administration.
  • Knowledge of system integrations, APIs, or integration platforms.
