Structural Analysis & Payload Design Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Structural Analysis Engineer with expertise in aircraft structural design and analysis, particularly in areas such as Landing Gear, Doors, and Window Systems (Flight Deck and/or Passenger). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural integrity, stress analysis, and aerospace engineering, with the ability to develop technical solutions in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Degree from an accredited institution (ABET accreditation preferred).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in structural analysis and engineering.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft structures and stress analysis methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on commercial or aerospace structural components and systems.
  • Proficiency with 3D modeling and product lifecycle management tools such as CATIA and ENOVIA.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Familiarity with engineering and configuration management systems, including DCCS, ETAC, and PDM.
  • Ability to work independently, identify project needs, and take initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement technical solutions for a wide range of structural engineering challenges.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience, or
  • Master's degree with 3+ years of related experience, or
  • PhD with relevant engineering experience, or
  • An equivalent combination of advanced technical education and professional experience.
