What You Will Be Doing:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
  • Perform emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime and support production goals.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues.
  • Repair, maintain, and test power generation, transmission, distribution, and control systems.
  • Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance using CMMS software to manage work orders and PM schedules.
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation.
  • Replace defective components, make adjustments, and verify proper equipment operation.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and completed work accurately.
  • Monitor maintenance inventory and requisition replacement parts and supplies as needed.
  • Detect and report unsafe conditions, faulty equipment, and unusual operating situations.
  • Recommend equipment, process, and maintenance improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve performance.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and maintenance procedures.

Skills You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training preferred.
  • Minimum 1?3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.
  • Experience with 480V three-phase equipment and 277V, 110V, and 24V electrical systems.
  • Working knowledge of three-phase motors, electrical circuits, PLCs, VFDs, programmable controls, and computer interfaces.
  • Highly proficient in electrical troubleshooting, including the efficient use of a multimeter.
  • Experience troubleshooting PLC input/output controls.
  • VFD programming and troubleshooting experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with potentiometers, servos, drives, and encoders preferred.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot using electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Basic electronics knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair electrical components.
  • Skilled in maintaining and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, water distribution, and compressed air systems.
  • Proficient with maintenance hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and computerized maintenance systems.
  • Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Basic computer skills, including email and data entry; forklift experience preferred.
  • Glass industry experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
