Role: PeopleSoft Campus Solutions – Financial Aid (FA)

Location: 100% Remote

Contract: 12+months 

Executive Summary:

We are seeking a highly specialized PeopleSoft Financial Aid expert to lead mission-critical automation and business process improvements. The ideal candidate must possess deep functional knowledge of Financial Aid business cycles and expert-level technical proficiency in the PeopleSoft Equation Engine. This role requires a professional who can work directly with University leadership and the Financial Aid department to deliver robust solutions within accelerated timelines.

Core Requirements & Technical Expertise:

• PeopleSoft Equation Engine Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in designing, writing, and troubleshooting complex equations to automate aid packaging, eligibility, and fiscal management.
• Financial Aid Business Lifecycle: Deep understanding of the full FA lifecycle, including ISIR processing, verification, awarding/packaging, and disbursement.
• Functional Configuration: Proven experience in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions configuration, specifically within the Financial Aid module.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ability to interpret federal and institutional aid regulations and translate them into system logic.
• Departmental Collaboration: Experience working as a direct liaison between IT and the Financial Aid department to gather requirements and provide functional support.

• Tight Timeline Delivery: Proven track record of meeting strict deadlines, specifically during peak aid cycles or system upgrades.
• Strategic Problem Solving: Ability to identify bottlenecks in current FA processes and propose automated, scalable solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellence in communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (Financial Aid Directors and staff).
