Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and talented Software Developer Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in software development within the context of government projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a strong desire to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively with our experienced development team.
Responsibilities:- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Debug and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct research and development on new technologies and tools.
- Document development processes, code changes, and project progress.
- Assist in testing and quality assurance activities.
Qualifications:- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks and tools (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js).
- Knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Basic understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
Preferred Qualifications:- Previous internship or project experience in software development.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
