Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead enterprise-wide financial systems transformation initiatives. This role combines technical project leadership, financial systems expertise, vendor management, and strategic governance to drive modernization of financial forecasting, reporting, and month-end close processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background managing complex ERP/EPM transformation programs, extensive experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and proven expertise utilizing Planview for enterprise portfolio management.
Mandatory Requirements
  • Minimum 8+ years of Technical Project Management experience.
  • Active PMP Certification (or equivalent enterprise certification such as PgMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner).
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency with Planview (Enterprise One, LeanKit, or PPM Pro).
  • Experience managing enterprise financial systems transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) & Financial Transformation
  • Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of executive dashboards, rolling forecasts, financial reports, and variance analysis solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Drive modernization initiatives focused on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with finance and technology stakeholders to streamline and automate month-end close activities through SAC reporting and ERP integrations.
  • Implement driver-based planning and predictive forecasting solutions to improve business performance visibility and forecasting accuracy.
  • Ensure alignment between financial objectives and technical solution delivery.
Vendor Management & Governance
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and third-party vendors, system integrators, and consulting partners.
  • Manage vendor relationships, project deliverables, and technical accountability.
  • Review, negotiate, and oversee Statements of Work (SOWs), project milestones, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budget commitments.
Project Management & Planview Governance
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale financial technology initiatives using Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Manage project planning, execution, risk mitigation, stakeholder communications, and governance activities.
  • Utilize Planview to maintain project schedules, portfolio reporting, resource allocation, and capacity planning.
  • Track project financials, including CapEx and OpEx budgets, forecasts, and expenditure reporting.
  • Provide executive-level status reporting and project health assessments.
Required Qualifications
Technical & Functional Expertise
  • 8+ years of experience leading complex IT and financial systems projects.
  • Active PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
  • Extensive SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) implementation and reporting experience, including:
    • Live data connections (S/4HANA and related ERP platforms)
    • Data modeling
    • Dashboard and Story development
    • Executive reporting solutions
  • Strong Planview administration and portfolio management experience.
  • Deep understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and month-end close processes.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS reporting standards.
  • Experience managing enterprise vendors and cross-functional stakeholder groups.
Education
Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines:
  • Computer Science
  • Management Information Systems (MIS)
  • Finance
  • Accounting
  • Information Technology
  • Related technical field
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working within large enterprise ERP/EPM environments.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven success delivering multi-million-dollar transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with financial reporting modernization and process automation programs.
