Join a dynamic team as a Senior DevOps Engineer supporting medical device products This hands-on role plays a key part in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and taking ownership of DevOps architecture, establishing governance frameworks, and leading/mentoring a team to ensure scalable, compliant, and efficient development practices. You will play a key role in optimizing tools and processes, guiding DevOps strategy, and enabling smooth and reliable product development across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and workflows to streamline product development.
  • Architect and develop solutions that overcome technical limitations, ensuring scalable and reliable deployment processes.
  • Lead migration and management of DevOps tools such as GitLab and Jenkins.
  • Support embedded software development activities.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Identify gaps in current processes, recommend improvements, and execute solutions to boost efficiency.
  • Collaborate across multiple projects, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements and technologies.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, collaborate to resolve issues and implement corrective action.
  • Integrates Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.

Qualifications
  • B.S / M.S. in computer science, math, computer engineering, electrical engineering or an engineering field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years experience in a prior DevOps role
  • Strong experience with modern DevOps tools, including CI/CD, infrastructure management, project management, logging, and compliance security scanning.
  • Integrates Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.
  • Robust experience with C, Python, Bash.
  • Experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to architect and implement pipelines, workflows, and software systems.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently without minimal supervision.
  • Excellent team leader with strong collaboration skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders and management effectively.
  • Capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
  • Experience with a variety of languages and frameworks, demonstrating versatility and technical breadth.
  • Comfortable with rapidly learning and adapting to new languages, frameworks, and technologies as needed, showcasing strong learning agility.
  • Strong operating system experience such as Linux, QNX, or other Unix-like systems.
  • Ability to identify gaps in processes and articulate improvements to tools and processes to address.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $91,000 to $151,800.00

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401k).This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program. Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits: Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year. Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year. Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year. Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year.
