Summary

Overview

Help build the security foundations that protect Windows and Azure customers against today's attacks and the rapidly evolving threats of tomorrow. The Windows Kernel Security Core team develops foundational operating system security technologies using virtualization, hardware-assisted isolation, and advances in processor architecture. You will work at the boundary between hardware and software to enable capabilities such as code integrity, Credential Guard, secure biometrics, secure hotpatching, and secure tracing and diagnostics across Windows and Azure.

As a Software Engineering Manager in the Windows Kernel Security Core team, you will lead a team of engineers developing security-critical, low-level platform technologies. You will guide architecture, implementation, validation, and delivery while working across Windows, Azure, security, and silicon partner teams to define technical direction and deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance solutions. This opportunity will allow you to deepen your expertise in operating system and hardware security, strengthen your technical and people leadership, and influence the future of hardware and operating system integration.

Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. • Lead product development and scaling to customer and platform requirements, applying engineering best practices and maintaining accountability for quality, security, and performance
  • Model, coach, and care for team members by defining clear outcomes, enabling success across organizational boundaries, and investing in the growth of engineers
