Job Title: PeopleSoft Financials Developer
Location: Austin, TX (Currently Remote after some time hybrid)
Duration: 12+ months contract
Experience: 14+ Years
Note: Need Candidates Who Previously Worked with any State Agency.
Client Note:
- The client is looking for a PeopleSoft Financials Developer who can handle both legacy system analysis and new system development.
- This is not a normal PeopleSoft role — it’s a migration + reverse engineering role.
MUST HAVE:
· PeopleSoft Financials (Development + Functional understanding)
· Experience with legacy system migration
· Exposure to .NET applications - Ability to read and interpret .NET code (C#, ) and SQL Server stored procedures.
· Strong analytical + reverse engineering skills
· Good communication skills
The agency is seeking a skilled PeopleSoft Financials developer for a critical migration project.
This role’s primary responsibilities include analyzing the legacy system built on the .NET framework, reverse-engineering business logic, and extracting critical data, as well as standard PeopleSoft development.
The qualified candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills to document and explain the legacy logic to the project team and stakeholders.
Other duties include standard SDLC tasks and other project tasks as needed. Depending on the project phase, some off-hours may be required.
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Requirements:
1. (at least 2 years) Development experience with PeopleTools
2. (at least 2 years) Experience working with PeopleTools 8.59 or higher
3. (at least 2 years) Experience with an advanced Oracle database
4. Ability to read and interpret .NET code (C#, ) and SQL Server stored procedures.
5. (at least 2 years) Legacy to PeopleSoft complex data migrations
6. Experience working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government)
7. Experience working with the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials
8. Experience with Jira
9. Experience working with the Scrum framework
