Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of machine operator personnel on 2nd shift
  • Program, set up, and troubleshoot CNC fabrication equipment as needed
  • Manage workflow to keep production on schedule and meet delivery deadlines
  • Train and mentor team members on equipment operation, safety protocols, and quality procedures
  • Monitor tool wear, maintenance schedules, and raw material inventory
  • Collaborate with engineering, welding, and assembly departments to maintain smooth production flow
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality, efficiency, and safety

Qualifications
Needed:
  • 7+ years of experience in machining
  • 3+ years in a lead or supervisory role within a machine shop or metal fabrication environment
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming, machine setup, and fabrication processes
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and hold a team accountable in a fast-paced production setting
  • Solid problem-solving and organizational skills with a strong commitment to safety and precision
