Role: Java Developer

Location: Milan, IL

Onsite position.

 

Works on building and supporting event-driven Java microservices on AWS that turn completed field operations into AI-generated stories. Plan work and coordinate with others to deliver functionality on a system of moderate complexity. Relies on journey-level knowledge of Java and Spring Boot and develops solutions to well-defined problems with guidance from senior team members. Coordinate and review portions of the work. Has proficiency in one functional area.

 

Required Technical Skills

  • 5-6 years experience need.
  • Java 25 and Spring Boot 4
  • REST APIs and event-driven architecture
  • AWS SQS, Step Functions, and EKS
  • JUnit 5, Mockito, Test containers, and Local Stack
  • Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform
  • GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines
  • Datadog monitoring and production support
  • Agile software development methodologies
