Position: JD Edwards Developer

Location: Allendale, NJ Onsite

Type of Employment: 12+ Months Contract

Role Description:

As a Senior Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software Engineer, you'll be at the center of delivering reliable, high-quality technology solutions for JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne environment. You'll design, develop, and implement business applications that help our teams work smoothly and efficiently every day. In this role, you'll partner closely with business analysts and collaborate with fellow developers to translate real operational needs into well-built applications. Sometimes you'll take the lead on development; other times, you'll contribute your expertise within a collaborative programming team. You'll also play an essential role in maintaining and supporting our JDE EnterpriseOne ecosystem, ensuring it remains stable, optimized, and responsive to business.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain business applications using approved tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Create technical specifications and ensure quality through testing and documentation.
• Support and enhance existing applications to ensure reliability and performance.
• Manage work priorities and adhere to IT project management standards.
• Utilize technology capabilities to solve complex business challenges.
• Contribute to the technology roadmap for continuous improvement of systems.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in JDE development; 3+ years hands-on experience in multiple technical areas.
• Proficiency with Costing, AR/AP, Real Estate/Property Management).
• Experience with reporting technologies (SSRS, ReportsNow, JDE BI Publisher), client/server development, web services, and MS SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience in JDE Orchestrator design and development, including creating custom orchestrations, integrations, and automation
• Oracle JDE Tools and modules (Core Financials, Job workflows to streamline business processes).
• Knowledge of system development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, SDLC) and ITIL-based service management,
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Bonus Points

• Experience with Homebuilder Construction or MASYC Homebuilder Sales Solution.
• Familiarity with BI tools, data integration platforms, and extract/translation programs.
• Previous involvement in developing SOPs and best practices for IT operations.
• Exposure to advanced JDE development processes and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture and object-oriented programming
