Job Description:Parsons Corporation is seeking a Construction Engineer or Construction Management Intern to support engineering and construction projects at the Atlanta Airport.
What You'll Be Doing:- Completing a variety of assignments such as field installation observations, engineering, tracking contractor submittals, quality assurance, and certifying work completed.
- Reviewing small and portions of larger contractor drawing submittals and assisting in performing technical bid analyses.
- Review specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents and ensure contractor is building in accordance with those referenced.
- Utilizes a CAD workstation to prepare engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, etc., from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures.
- Utilizes technical manuals and directives to ensure compliance with codes and company policies. Becomes familiar with various standards and codes such as ANSI, PFI, and ASME.
- Compiles data and performs dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Literate in PC software, a working knowledge of CAD, and other computer software used to complete design assignments.
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:- Working knowledge of engineering and construction
- Ability to work on-site at the airport.

Salary Range: $22.93 - $40.14
