Summary

Vortex Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP PMMO / GPD (Grouping, Pegging, and Distribution) Consultant to join our team to support SAP S/4HANA project for Aerospace and Defense industry customer.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in configuring and optimizing SAP PMMO (GPD) and SAP Project Systems (PS)processes, with a strong focus on make-to-order (MTO) and engineer-to-order (ETO) manufacturing environments.

This role involves leveraging deep expertise in with SAP Production Planning (PP) to support complex, regulated projects, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and innovation in aerospace and defense operations.

Other skills: SAP PMMO formerly SAP GDP (Grouping, Pegging, Distribution)

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience as an SAP PMMO (GPD) / Project Systems consultant,
5 years focused on MTO/ETO processes
Proven track record of 2-3 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations (from blueprint to go-live) in aerospace/defense projects.
Deep expertise in S/4HANA PMMO and PS capabilities, including WBS, network planning, cost and revenue management, and integration with other SAP modules.
Strong experience in integrating SAP Project Systems (PS) with SAP PP for production-driven projects, particularly in handling complex assemblies and regulatory compliance.
Knowledge or familiarity with aerospace and defense industry requirements, custom engineering, and long-lead-time materials.
SAP FICO / Accounting and/or Finance experience is a plus
