NTT DATA''s Client is seeking a SAP Security Lead
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee SAP Security and GRC activities for global Greenfield S/4HANA implementation.
- Act as the primary Security & GRC Lead, owning end‐to‐end security architecture, role design, risk management, and compliance strategy.
- Define and manage the SAP Security and GRC governance model, aligned with internal controls, audit requirements, and SAP best practices.
- Own and maintain the Security & GRC inventory/backlog, including roles, authorizations, SoD rules, mitigations, and access workflows.
- Design and implement S/4HANA security architecture, including:
- Business roles, catalogs, and authorization design
- Fiori Launchpad security and role mapping
- Technical and functional access controls
- Lead SAP GRC Access Control processes:
- Access Risk Analysis (ARA)
- SoD rule set design and maintenance
- Mitigation controls
- Emergency Access Management (EAM / Firefighter)
- Partner with functional, development, and integration leads to ensure clean‐core‐compliant security design across:
- S/4HANA
- SAP BTP
- SAP Fiori
- RAP/CAP and side‐by‐side extensions
- Define SAP BTP security architecture, including:
- Role collections
- OAuth scopes
- Trust configuration and identity federation
- Support security design for integrations with SAP Ariba, SuccessFactors, and other SAP SaaS applications.
- Manage user provisioning and lifecycle processes, including integration with IAM/IDM solutions.
- Conduct security testing, authorization testing, and GRC validation during SIT, UAT, and pre‐go‐live phases.
- Support cutover, go‐live, hypercare, and post‐go‐live access stabilization activities.
- Coordinate audits, address findings, and ensure compliance with internal and external security requirements.
- Track work execution, risks, and issues using Agile/Jira.
- Mentor and guide onshore and offshore SAP security and GRC teams.
Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)
- SAP Security & GRC Experience:
- 10+ years of SAP security and authorization experience.
- S/4HANA Greenfield Implementations:
- 6+ years supporting or leading security for Greenfield S/4HANA programs.
- SAP S/4HANA Security:
- 6+ years designing roles, authorizations, and Fiori security concepts.
- SAP GRC Access Control:
- 5+ years hands‐on experience with:
- Access Risk Analysis (ARA)
- Mitigation Controls
- Emergency Access Management (Firefighter)
- Fiori & Launchpad Security:
- 4+ years managing catalogs, groups/spaces, and role mappings.
- SAP BTP Security:
- 4+ years designing security for SAP BTP, including role collections, OAuth scopes, and trust configurations.
- Cloud & SaaS Security:
- 3+ years securing integrations with SAP Ariba, SuccessFactors, or other SAP public cloud solutions.
- Identity & Access Management (IAM):
- Experience integrating SAP with corporate IAM/IDM solutions and user provisioning workflows.
- Audit & Compliance:
- Proven experience supporting SOX, internal/external audits, and compliance reviews.
Agile Delivery & Jira:
- 4+ years experience working in Agile delivery environments using Jira.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Demonstrated experience leading SAP security workstreams and collaborating with IT, business, and audit stakeholders.
Travel: This position requires someone who can travel at least 20%. Preferred location is East coast or Midwest.
Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Nice to Have; (But not a must)
Prior experience leading multi‐vendor, global delivery programs.
Industry experience in manufacturing, life sciences.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $120-$150/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate''s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
