Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Data Lake Consultant to design, develop, and support enterprise data lake solutions using Oracle technologies. The consultant will work with business and technical teams to build scalable data platforms, integrate data from multiple sources, and support analytics and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop Oracle-based data lake and data integration solutions.
Develop ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from multiple systems.
Work with Oracle Database, Oracle Cloud, and related data services.
Perform data transformation, cleansing, validation, and quality management.
Develop SQL and PL/SQL for data processing and integration.
Support data migration and modernization initiatives.
Build data models and optimize data pipelines for performance.
Work with APIs, batch processing, and structured/unstructured data sources.
Troubleshoot data integration and production issues.
Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, and government stakeholders.
Prepare technical documentation and support data governance and security requirements.

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in data engineering / data integration.
Strong experience with Oracle Database and SQL/PLSQL.
Hands-on experience building Data Lake / Data Warehouse solutions.
Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipelines.
Strong understanding of data modeling and data integration concepts.
Experience with Oracle Cloud/OCI is highly preferred.
Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Experience working with government or public-sector projects is a plus.

Preferred Skills

Oracle Data Integration, OCI Data Lake, Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Object Storage, Data Flow, GoldenGate, REST APIs, Python, Spark, cloud data architecture, data governance, and security.
