Job Overview:

  • This role is accountable for managing complex network operations for large-scale LAN/WAN environments, driving continuous service improvement, and ensuring high standards in client service delivery.
  • The individual provides expert leadership to operations teams, implements innovative process enhancements, and ensures the achievement of operational SLAs and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee LAN/WAN network operations by leveraging advanced knowledge of routing, switching, and network monitoring tools such as Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex network incidents using packet analyzers like Wireshark and network management platforms to minimize downtime and service impact.
  • Implement and optimize network policies and security protocols utilizing firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto) and network access controls to safeguard data integrity and compliance.
  • Drive process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives in network operations through automation tools such as Ansible and Python scripting, enhancing operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
  • Mentor and empower network support teams by sharing expert knowledge in LAN/WAN technologies, ensuring skill development, transparent communication, and alignment with project goals.
  • Engage with clients to understand evolving network requirements, translating business needs into actionable network solutions while ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs and service quality benchmarks.
  • Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, operational reports, and performance dashboards to support strategic decision-making and organizational planning.
Skill Requirements:
  • Advanced expertise in Cisco and Juniper network devices and protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs).
  • Excellent command of network monitoring and management tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, SNMP).
  • Advanced knowledge of network security principles, including firewall configuration and VPN technologies.
  • Strong skills in process optimization, automation (Python, Ansible), and network documentation.
