job summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Record-to-Report (R2R) Lead to drive the delivery, stabilization, and optimization of our enterprise financial system environment. In this role, you will work closely with Finance stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions, optimizing financial close processes, reporting integrations, and core accounting operations.

responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of R2R functional enhancements, from initial requirements gathering and functional design through testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and hypercare.
- Partner with Finance leadership to streamline financial close processes, allocations, journal entries, intercompany processing, and AR aging reconciliations.
- Coordinate integrations across SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere, and upstream/downstream financial systems.
- Collaborate with AMS, project, and integration teams to resolve technical defects, manage backlogs, and plan system roadmaps.
- Identify and execute automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve financial reporting accuracy and timeliness.
qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance with a primary focus on Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
Proven expertise in financial close optimization, intercompany processing, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Demonstrated experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere integrations.
Must be local to the Dallas/Irving, TX area and able to work on-site 3 days per week.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong background working within Application Managed Services (AMS) and multi-team delivery structures.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
