Job Title: Senior QA Automation Developer / Architect

Position Overview Seeking a Senior QA Automation Developer to lead, modernize, and scale the enterprise automation framework for a large-scale, mission-critical healthcare eligibility system. This role provides technical leadership within a DevOps/Agile environment, guiding team members and driving test automation strategy across CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Framework Leadership & Architecture: Architect, modernize, and maintain scalable enterprise automation frameworks supporting complex, mission-critical integrated healthcare systems.

• Technical Strategy & CI/CD: Lead automation strategy, integrating automated API, UI, and regression test suites directly into DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and best practices to DevOps and QA teams through code reviews, framework standards, and coaching.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers, solutions architects, and BAs during Agile ceremonies to define test assets, triage defects, and solve technical roadblocks.

• Data & API Validation: Design and execute functional, REST API, and complex SQL database validation tests to ensure end-to-end software quality.

Qualifications

• Enterprise Automation Experience: 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions for large-scale enterprise applications.

• Framework & OOP Expertise: 5+ years building, enhancing, or modernizing automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, or object-oriented design principles.

• CI/CD Pipeline Integration: 3+ years integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).

• Database & Query Proficiency: 5+ years writing complex SQL queries and performing database validation for automated test execution.

• Industry & Tools Background (Preferred): Prior experience in healthcare, government, or regulated enterprise environments, with hands-on exposure to REST APIs, Agile methodologies, and enterprise test management tools (e.g., IBM ETM/CLM).
