Summary

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale applications in an Agile environment. This role focuses on modern Java development, microservices architecture, cloud native design, and distributed systems, leveraging technologies such as Spring Boot, NoSQL databases, containerization, and CI/CD automation.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise Java applications using Java 11+ and Spring/Spring Boot.
Design and implement scalable microservices and distributed systems.
Build RESTful APIs and ensure strong documentation and API design principles.
Work with both relational and NoSQL databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, or similar.
Develop event?driven components using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
Work within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenShift.
Collaborate with cross?functional teams in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand?ups.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, and automated testing frameworks.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure reliability and performance across services.
Follow best practices for security, scalability, and clean code.

Must?Have Technical Skills

Strong, hands?on experience with Java 11+, Java/J2EE, and enterprise?scale systems.
experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Experience building RESTful APIs (Swagger/OpenAPI exposure preferred).
Relational database experience: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
Event?driven technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Docker & Kubernetes/OpenShift for containerization and orchestration.
CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, automated testing.
Experience with cloud platforms (OpenShift, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Comfortable working in Linux environments (RHEL preferred).
