Job Details

This role owns the development and deployment of manufacturing test solutions for complex AI hardware systems, spanning board-level through full system validation. You will drive test strategy, automation, and production readiness from early NPI through high-volume manufacturing.

Location: Sunnyvale, CA | Onsite | Limited travel to contract manufacturers

Manufacturing Test Engineering Scope
Develop end-to-end manufacturing test strategy (ICT, FCT, burn-in, system test)
Own test solutions from NPI through high-volume production
Build automation frameworks to improve throughput and reduce manual intervention
Support PCB and PCBA test execution, including boundary scan and system integration
Collaborate with hardware, validation, and manufacturing teams on test coverage and yield

Technical Execution & Requirements
10+ years in hardware manufacturing test development
Strong PCB/PCBA test process and bring-up experience
Hands-on debugging and root cause analysis at board and system level
Experience supporting contract manufacturers and factory environments
Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++ within Linux environments
Background in test automation, data collection, and infrastructure
Familiarity with test tooling, GUIs, SQL databases, and cloud systems (e.g., AWS)
