Senior Front-End Engineer (React / Next.js) Location: Dearborn, MI
Hybrid Schedule: Onsite Monday through Thursday

About the Role We are seeking a talented
Senior Front-End Engineer to join a collaborative product development team focused on building modern, scalable, and user-centric web applications. This role is ideal for an engineer who is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences, solving complex business problems, and leveraging modern front-end technologies to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions.
You will work closely with product owners, UX designers, architects, and back-end developers to design, develop, test, and deploy responsive web applications using
React, Next.js, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using React and Next.js.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, user pain points, and desired outcomes.
- Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces that provide exceptional user experiences.
- Create prototypes, mockups, and interactive designs to support product development initiatives.
- Develop reusable components and maintain consistency with enterprise design standards.
- Implement automated UI and end-to-end testing using Playwright.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to accessibility standards.
- Partner with architects and development teams to align with enterprise architecture guidelines.
- Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and continuously improve application quality.
- Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and development best practices.
- Utilize AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Microsoft Copilot to improve productivity and code quality.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with:
- React
- Next.js
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- HTML5
- CSS3
- Experience developing enterprise web applications.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and modern UI/UX principles.
- Experience with automated testing using Playwright.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and cross-browser compatibility.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with monorepo architectures.
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience.
- Experience with state management solutions such as:
- Redux Toolkit
- Context API
- Zustand
- React Query/TanStack Query
- Experience with Next.js App Router, Server Components, and modern routing patterns.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
AI Experience Required Candidates should have a solid understanding of basic AI concepts and practical experience using AI-assisted development tools for at least six months.
