Job Description: Senior SAP HCM Consultant (OM/PA/PT/Travel | ECC → S/4HANA Migration)
Experience: 10+ Years
Engagement Model: Month 1 (Parttime Discovery + onsite travel), followed by 9month fulltime
onshore delivery
Location: USA (Onsite travel to New Jersey or Philadelphia as required)
Delivery Model: 100% Onshore, No Offshore, Remote but occasional travels for key phases to
customer location.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP HCM Consultant with strong functional
expertise in Organizational Management (OM), Personnel Administration (PA),Payroll and
Time Management (PT – positive & negative), and Travel Management. The consultant must
have handson experience in at least one ECC to S/4HANA migration project, including data
conversion, simplification item handling, and cutover execution.
This role begins with a parttime Discovery phase during the first month, including periodic
onsite workshops in New Jersey or Philadelphia, followed by a 9month fulltime onshore
project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Discovery workshops during Month 1, including onsite sessions with business and
IT stakeholders.
Analyze existing ECC HCM processes and define the S/4HANA target design across OM,
PA, PT, and Travel Management.
Perform configuration, testing, and documentation for all assigned HCM submodules.
Support S/4HANA migration activities: data mapping, conversion validation,
simplification item review, and cutover planning.
Collaborate with technical teams for RICEF objects, integrations, and Fiori enablement.
Drive UAT, defect triage, and postgolive hypercare.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, statutory requirements, and global process
standards.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of SAP HCM functional experience.
Deep expertise in OM, PA, Time Management (positive & negative), PY and Travel
Management.
Proven experience in at least one S/4HANA migration project (brownfield or selective
transformation).
Strong understanding of time schemas, PCRs, work schedules, quotas, and travel
workflows.
Ability to lead workshops, gather requirements, and produce high-quality functional
documentation.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with US-based business
teams.
Must be available for onsite travel during Discovery and full onshore delivery for the
remaining project duration.
