Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Developer / Database Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL to support enterprise-level data-driven applications and reporting solutions.
The ideal candidate must have strong SQL query-writing skills, extensive PL/SQL development experience, and a solid understanding of database performance tuning and optimization.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database (Mandatory).
Excellent SQL query-writing and problem-solving skills.
Strong PL/SQL development experience.
Hands-on experience with stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and cursors.
Ability to write complex SQL queries from scratch.
Strong understanding of joins, subqueries, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), analytical/window functions, and aggregations.
Experience with Oracle database performance tuning and query optimization.
Knowledge of indexing, execution plans, and performance troubleshooting.
Experience working with enterprise-scale relational database environments.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Good to Have:
SQL Server experience.
Power BI and/or SSRS experience.
Experience with Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or Google Cloud SQL.
Important Client Interview Requirement
An in-person technical interview in Fremont, CA is mandatory.
Candidates must be comfortable completing a hands-on SQL/PLSQL whiteboard assessment at the client s office and explaining their logic and approach to the technical team.
The assessment may cover:
Complex SQL queries and query writing from scratch.
Joins, subqueries, and CTEs.
Analytical/window functions and aggregations.
PL/SQL programming, stored procedures, and functions.
Query optimization and database performance tuning.
Execution plans, indexing, and database concepts.
